My classroom is currently a computer lab for the English Language Arts, but due to limited resources, I do not have any headphones for the computers. Headphones would make it easier for my students to use intervention applications, which will increase their reading levels. By doing that, it will not only benefit them in my class but all of their classes. Most of my students enter 9th grade below the required Lexile (reading) level and within a span of the school year, we are expected to catch them up as much as we can. Headphones would greatly aid in this process. They would be able to do such things as read along to an audiobook to help their word recognition skills along with their fluency. Thank you so much for reading my project!
