My amazing students are juniors and seniors in a California public high school. They live in a middle-class, blue-collar city. The majority of my students do not have an abundance of family income with which to purchase technology to aid in their education. I teach one class of Biology AP and four classes of Human Anatomy and Physiology. My students are very interested in science, and many are currently taking their third or fourth high school science course. Quite a few have expressed a desire to have a career in the life sciences. They are inquisitive and dedicated. Many are stretched to the maximum with honors and AP courses, leadership roles, sports, and involvement with activities outside school. I'm very proud of their hard work and achievement.
