My students need help focusing in my classroom, but too often they feel restricted by their desks, and become mindless when they finish an assignment.
I want to use the material that I have placed in my cart to hopefully facilitate my students having a choice and ability to do what they feel they need to do to stay on task. I will use the differentiated seating to allow students who do not feel comfortable in a rigid school desk another option. I will use the STEM Games as a reward for students to play once they have finished a task. I will use the classroom/teacher materials to create challenging and enriching instruction for my students.
I want my students to see the importance of their education, and I believe they will be more likely to accept that I am there to help them, not control them, with these options of seating and learning.
