Children in my classroom vary in strengths, personality and age. They share in common only uniqueness in the way they show love, respect and humor. My students enjoy transferring knowledge of basic math operations to scoring a bowling card and showing empathy to hatching baby chicks. They are blessed with enriching themselves knowledge of Lowcountry history and environment. 100% of the children and families in my class live based on a low income. All of the students in my class are working toward understanding verbal directions, expressing themselves, operating pencils and recognizing the spokens sounds or responding to letters to make words with meaning.
