The resources I am requesting will help my classroom become a more relaxing and comfortable place to work successfully. The bean bag chairs will provide a soft place to work, like sitting on a couch at home. The Wobble stools, stability disks, exercise balls, and fidget bands will help those students who need to constantly be moving while they work. The lap desks will provide a hard surface for those students who want to sit on the floor to work. With these resources, my students will be more successful in their learning because they will have the comfort they need to work. I feel that after observing the differences of the way students work now from the way students worked even just a few years ago, that moving to a flexible seating classroom is the best way for me to continue to keep my students learning.
