My students are a very affectionate group of students. They are classified as alternate assessment (autistic) as well and having Emotional Behavioral Disorders. They come from economically challenged areas. Some of them are even homeless and are placed in shelters with their parents. They are very proud of their work. They really enjoy coming to school. Sometimes, school seems to be the only highlight of their day. They really enjoy seeing their work outside in the halls or displayed in the classroom as well as throughout the school. Their expressions are priceless, They take great pride in their work and are very supportive of their peer's work as well.
