My classroom is filled with students from all walks of life and levels of academic ability. One thing they all have in common though is the desire to read. Our school is committed to the new Common Core State Standards. These standards start at the very beginning of their education career. The class is made up of 26 young minds eager to learn. It is a joy to watch them grow in reading skill as the year progresses. My students need 5 Chromebook laptops to get to the reading site "Reading A-Z" so they can access books at their reading level during leveled group time.
