My students come from a low-income background in the Florida school system. Most of the students are on a reduced lunch or don't pay for their lunch. They get the majority of their meals at school. My students operate with the most basic of materials, but they get excited when they get to perform laboratory experiments. I have many types of learners in my classroom: hands-on, visual, group-oriented, individual, and more. My students want to learn and are extremely creative. By providing them with an inquiry-based learning environment, I hope to see them achieve academic success and enter the global world prepared to rise above. I know that my students will be appreciative of any materials that are provided for them.
