Our school is wonderfully diverse with an amazing ethnic mix and 26 languages spoken. We are very high poverty (82% free and reduced lunch) and many of our students have incredibly high needs. Some problems are outside our ability to fix but others are within reach. Research indicates that students learn and retain information better when their core muscles are engaged. Ideally, it would be great to have wiggle seats for everyone but this small number of garden seats will allow us to have one learning station that students rotate through on a daily basis.
