I have 28 lively kindergarten students. There are 14 boys and 14 girls. They attend kindergarten for the full-day. There are nine ESL students whose languages range from Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Somalian and Arabic. Sixteen of the students are on scholarship so that they can attend school for the full day. Of the 28 students, over half of them are on the free or reduced price lunch program. Many of the students eat breakfast and lunch at school because their families cannot afford a nutritious breakfast or lunch for them.
