Many of our middle school's students do not receive the support or the encouragement they deserve outside of the school walls. Many come from transitional homes where education is not the priority. Currently out district has a student population of over 50 percent who are at the poverty level. Our school's kids have so much potential and could be inspired if given the opportunity to explore our world through reading.
