The sound of voices and laughter cannot be contained within the four walls of P1. My students are visual and kinesthetic learners who have become "teacher juniors" through their rich discussions and conversations with one another. They are leaders and self starters who are motivated to learn when provided the necessary technology and tools. They are supportive and encouraging of one another's learning. The students from my class come from mixed background, abilities, and family dynamics. The school supports a minority population of 90% of which 40% speak a second language at home.
