Our first grade classroom is a magical place! The 30 diverse students are all learning a variety of skills. Some are learning to read, some are learning math skills, some are learning how to expand their writing. I have students who need to move and so I try to provide a variety of seating options. I have students who are English Language learners. The entire class is working on building technology skills by coding and participating in a variety of STEM lessons that are often connected to literature. After teaching for 20 years, first grade is so exciting every year because these young students grow so much! Thank you for helping me provide my students with all the tools we need to reach our goals!
