The elementary school that I teach at is full of bright and eager learners. Our population is fairly diverse, with students coming from all different racial backgrounds. The population is growing every year and we have approximately 500 students in grades PreK-5. Our staff is constantly reflecting on how to be better educators for our students by having conversations that ensure our students will learn things that are valuable to their future and relevant to their current experiences. Our school is in a city that is becoming more urban and diverse every day with new challenges that students have to face outside of school. These challenges make it all the more necessary for teachers and students to have resources in order to help ensure student success.

About my class
