My Kindergarten students attend a Title 1 school and they are from a low socioeconomic area and for this same reason, they lack even the simplest technology resources at home. For many of them, their only constant in their lives is attending school. Even with these challenges that my students face, they are very hard working and they are determined and eager to learn. They are great kids and deserve much more than they have. Due to the standards of education's rigor and high expectations, we as educators have to prepare these students to excel and become our nation's future engineers, doctors, and other endless important career holders. This is why my students will benefit from the reading and math applications from this tablet that will help them with their reading fluency and math computations.
