My students are high achieving learners who love a challenge. They are eager to learn new concepts and love to compete. However, when the students are at a financial disadvantage over other schools and students, they tend to hesitate in participating in academic challenges. Our Title I School District does not have the means to provide the financial support that we need for some of the academic competitions that we would like to participate in each year.
