There is not much that seems to excite my 6th grade students this year. Somewhere during their past 5 or so years of schooling, they seem to have lost the love of learning that so many young children have. The school where I teach is relatively new (only four years old) so we haven't had a chance to accumulate very much extra technology beyond what a classroom requires in order to function.
