A place for everyone rug is uniquely designed to allow each student the comfort of their very own learning spot at the rug. This rug helps me create a predictable environment for my students and reenforce body space expectations while sitting together. The large perimeter of the rug creates enough space for each student to feel seen and heard during discussions. We start our morning singing "The More We Get Together" by Raffi, and I dream of a rug where the place we gather collectively, fits us all. Instead of desks, my students gather at tables. I love creating a flexible classroom where students work at different tables throughout the day. In order to facilitate this flexibility, my students need chairs that can offer them storage to move with them.
