This year I have a group of 20 amazing 2nd graders. The school is Pre-Kindergarten to third grade and has a population of around 750. The students are 99% Hispanic and come from low-income homes. My students love being in school, and each day provides a new experience for them to grow as learners. They are not exposed to many educational opportunities outside of the classroom and so it is important for me to provide them with every tool possible to enrich their learning experience.

About my class
