Most of my students are on free and reduced price lunch. We are in a high poverty school so it is important that students want to come to school to learn and feel safe while they are there. I have 25 amazing first graders who love to learn. It is the best feeling when the students absorb the information and it clicks. They get so excited and are so proud of themselves. I feel more than blessed to start my teaching career with the most amazing students. It makes coming to work so fun and enjoyable with a group of students who are so positive about learning and school.

About my class
