In my classroom we have access to several online learn programs that can help students learn math in engaging and fun ways, but no way actually use them, which leads me to printing hundreds of sheets of paper a week in order for students to work. Having access to tablets that let them use our online curriculum allows students access to the games and interactive lessons we have online. Kindle tablets will allow our classroom to do more project based learning. There are many amazing math projects we would love to do, but we need to be able to do research here in the classroom to do it. The last way this Kindle tablets will help in the classroom would be to help me as a teacher differentiate the learning for students. Instead of one printed worksheet, we can have multiple digital worksheets, that will allow students at all learning levels to succeed from where they are at.
