My students are low SES, Bilingual, with no technological accessibility at home. We are at a predominantly bilingual, Hispanic demographic area, where most of the parents have two to three jobs to make sure their children get to school. They struggle with language barriers when they are trying to express their knowledge and feelings. I notice that parents want the best education by working extremely hard to provide what they can at home. They participate as much they can with school activities when is possible, and if it's not possible, they send notes or call me when they have questions about their kids in school.

About my class
