Our school is located in a suburban community in Utah. We have approximately 700 students between kindergarten to sixth grade. Currently we have 112 second grade students. All of the students would all have access to the materials being requested. The students at our school come from a wide range of economic situations. The most challenging part of helping a diverse classroom of students is to meet all their individual needs. One common thread that all students share is the need and desire to become lifelong learners. That can best be accomplished by helping them to become proficient at reading, regardless of the life situations they were born into.
