My class is almost completely web based. The applications range from typing, music, animation, to photo manipulation. My current class setup has been working; unfortunately, class size has gotten larger and I have too many students without a workstation computer. Many of my assignments are individual projects that students cannot share computers for. Additional workstations (Chromebooks) will allow me to easily use them as needed and also allow me to move them around my classroom easily for the students. Chromebooks also make it incredibly easy to use with multiple student accounts. Productivity is higher when students are able to have a hands-on experience, which is why I feel it is necessary to have a computer for each student in class.
