Students acquire language faster when it is presented in a fun and non-threatening environment. Games provide them with the opportunity to learn English without being conscious of making mistakes, thus, allowing them to use the language often and deepen their knowledge of their target language. The English Language Learner Games Library and Literature Based Learning Center will be instrumental in helping them learn English. Prepositions, verb tenses, and idioms seem natural to a native English speaker; however, our ESOL students need some practice with these language intricacies. These games will provide them with the necessary practice, in the classroom, without being boring. Let the games begin!
