I am in charge of a school band in a public elementary middle school. We started about six years ago with almost nothing and quickly gained popularity. Within the last two years the band already performed twice at the Baltimore Annual Youth Expo! The band became a very nice asset to reinforcement of positive school climate. There are so many talented kids out there! Unfortunately, there are not many programs to help children discover and nourish their talents. Like the overwhelming majority of public city schools, the funding is quite limited and the school systems just can not afford them. Fortunately there are people like you, who are willing to help. Last year with Donors Choose and all of your help we got a bass amplifier, and it made a huge difference! Now we need a new PA system, and you can make that difference again by making your donation today!
