We are the biggest high school in the 6th largest city in the U.S. 62% of the students are on free lunch and over %25 are below the poverty line. The guitar program currently has 140 aspiring musicians. The students are some of the most polite, friendly, well behaved, excellent kids I have ever met. There is such a strong bond and feeling of togetherness within the school and program it's hard to believe many of the students have such a rough life.
