My class is a highly intelligent, diverse group of students. We are a Title 1, low income public school who fights to meet the need of every student. My students are fun loving kids, who strive for success and aspire for greatness. Unfortunately, many of my students do not have home access to essential resources such as: books, computers, the internet or technology and must rely on what school has to offer. With the demanding changes in curriculum and push for new literacies many of my students, willingly, come to school early, stay late and give up their free time to make up for what they do not have at home. As an inclusion teacher, it is often difficult to provide the individual resources my students need, on my own, especially when it comes to technology and literacy resources.
