This is a great bunch of students. They are so kind and compassionate. The class is a mix of seventh and eighth graders and many of the special needs students on our campus are given a peer buddy and participate in the general class activities. Our middle school does an excellent job of focusing on what our students are good at and making sure each student is set up for success. Many of the students try to use the computer to work on math, science, and or language arts classwork or assigned activities. However, this has not been happening lately. While we do have computers in our computer lab it requires planning ahead of time and is limited by the use of all the classes in our school. Sometimes it is nice to have a few FUNCTIONAL computers that the students can use during class time as needed.
