I have the sweetest class in the world! That is no lie. They are hard workers and sweet, good-hearted students. Almost all of them are considered low-income, at-risk students, however, because of the low socioeconomic status of our school and the surrounding area. Although, they work hard with their pencils and paper, I know they would love to have more technology in our school because the highlight of their week is getting to go to the computer lab on Thursdays for 45 minutes. These students are enthusiastic, and they work hard for me! They seem to think of me as their mother duck; in fact, one day they were following me down the hall and made reference to me as their mother duck and they, my ducklings. Many of them lack attention at home and just need an extra smile or high five, If it wasn't for them, I would not work so hard for this project, but they definitely deserve it. Thank you for considering them!
