My students are some of the hardest working fourth graders you'll ever meet! They spend all day reading, writing, doing math, and definitely deserve some time to let out some of their energy through P.E. My school serves a population that is 58% Hispanic and 30% African-American. We are a Title I school with 87% free and reduced lunch. The majority of my students come from socio-economically disadvantaged homes. Despite their hardships in their lives, they come to school eager and ready to learn. No matter what their academic levels are, they always try their hardest and love to make me proud of them. They truly understand that education is so important for their futures.
