My students are extremely inquisitive and love to ask questions and explore. They are starting "big kid" school, and they thirst for knowledge about their world. The school is starting its third year. This particular place in Missouri has a real broken educational system that needs much reform in terms of educational inequity. Our school ensures that all students are getting what they need as far as academics and personal growth goes. We value diversity and believe teaching the whole child is extremely beneficial. My students have a passion to learn and to be successful in whatever it is they are doing, and I do not want them lose that intrinsic motivation. It all starts here in early childhood and if my students can master concepts they need to know for the next grade level; they will be excellent readers and excellent scholars for years to come.
