I work as a teacher and educator at a lovely school in a big urban school district with a great variety of minorities that bring a wonderful diversity of cultures and languages. As a language school, I teach Spanish with a twist, we integrate technology in meaningful ways. Students at my school are also from diverse economic backgrounds, some get free or reduced lunch and have limited resources at home. We can bridge this gap by providing them the experience to acquire 21st century literacy skills as well as learning a foreign language. This will help them have better career opportunities in their future.
