This is the first time many of my scholars have been in a classroom setting and, while I love teaching them how to work together and share, the times we are in isn't conducive to doing that. My scholars are learning to be socially distant and are required to work independently so they can be safe. These materials will make a difference for my scholars so they improve on their literacy and math skills and can have fun while learning but also stay safe by staying apart. These materials will give them the hands on experience that is so needed in a pre-kindergarten classroom. I want them to have the best experience they can have so they will not only remember this year for having to stay apart, but for realizing how resilient they are for learning to work together while they stayed apart.
