Having access to this piece of technology will allow me to support the various students in the classroom. The majority of the classroom content is online and it is important for students to be able to navigate the online platform in addition to the in-person learning. I believe this is a challenge for students and by having this Surface Pro, I am able to adequately provide technical support and be able to differentiate instruction in a more seamless way. In addition, the touch screen on the Surface Pro can allow my students to interact with the content with their fingers or a pen. My role as a special education teacher will require me to visit several classrooms, meeting several content areas a day. Having the right tools will allow me to be able to assist my students and most importantly, support their needs.
