69% of our school's students have free or reduced lunch prices due to coming from low socioeconomic backgrounds. The population of the school is majority Hispanic, with many white students as well. 30% of our students are Transitional Bilingual, ranging from speaking little to no English, to being relatively competent in English as their second (or third) language. Aside from statistics, our school is a dedicated community of learners and educators. My classroom is a very vibrant, creative one. I put in extra time to provide a memorable, positive experience for the students so they form a strong bond with school. My top expectations are that everyone take education seriously, get to work, enjoy working hard and support one another while doing it!
