My TIGERS are awesome, 23 humans unlike any other group of people I know. They are lovers of learning, inquisitive minds, overcomers of obstacles, creative geniuses with caring spirits and ambitious leaders in their school at the ages of 5 and 6. Their test scores are awesome, class grades are beyond expectaions and my 'babies' only want to take their learning higher. My scholars are determined to demand the best learning tools so they can be the best citizens. Our school is an urban school with a predominantly African-American population. We have a population of about 416 students. The ethnic distributions are 70.2% African-American and 29.8% Hispanic American. Ninety six percent (96%) of the students are economically disadvantaged and considered at-risk. The students attendance rate is 95%. We don't have much due to budgeting and we are starving for technology in our class and my students are afraid they will be left behind. We need you to help us achieve greater success!
