We are on a specialized campus that serves only students with moderate to severe learning disabilities. Our students need many modifications and adaptations to core curriculum in order for them to succeed. Our school's motto is "everyone shines". We truly believe that every student will shine in their own way and will make great strides of accomplishments in their lives. My students are 7-8 years old with moderate to severe learning disabilities. They all have very short attention spans and require lots of attention grabbers. They thrive when they are interactive with lessons. Without a interactive learning environment they will fall apart and behaviors emerge.
