My students are a diverse bunch representing different cultures, languages, and socioeconomic status. They are typical kids. They love to play, learn, dance, and sing. Our school is a small charter school located in the outskirts of a major metropolis. Although the city offers a variety of learning opportunities, the opportunity to appreciate the majesty of nature is not amongst them.
