My class is a pre-kindergarten classroom within a pre-k through grade 8 public school. My kids are great! They come in September as three or four year olds. When they come in, many haven't had any school experience at all. It is up to me to make them fall in love with being a student. In a few short weeks they not only love school, they learn how to make friends, share, write their names and simple math and science skills, as well as other important lessons. The amount of things they learn by winter recess is amazing! Their brains just absorb everything!
