The school library is certainly one of the busiest rooms in the school. We see about 850 kids per day (yes, 850) so we are always busy. All students at Murrow have at least one free period and many of them choose to spend their free time in the library. More happy we could not be for the social and friendly atmosphere in the library, but we would not mind if some of those socializing would also borrow more books. The Murrow library is in flux. We are working on rebranding the library and are starting from the ground up. We are beginning with creating relationships with students and colleagues and repurposing the way the large space is used. Murrow is one of the most diverse schools in New York State and the library embraces the cultures, beliefs, and feelings of our students and sets to make the library a place they want to be.
