I teach one section of both second and third grade, so I have about 50 students total. They are all English language learners attending a neighborhood school in an area that has long been abandoned by the city. Despite this, my students are bright, sweet, resilient, and ready to read! I have the pleasure of teaching them reading and writing, transitioning them from native language instruction, to English. They are incredible!
