I am a sixth grade teacher at a Title One school. I teach math and science and spend time after school tutoring and homeschooling an additional student. Our district has numerous program improvement level schools and ours has been in PI status and struggling for a while. As a teacher, my biggest goal is the success of my students. Each day I strive to keep them working hard to maintain their skills, inspired to make good choices, and motivated to keep going! Some days are a real struggle and faced with tremendous obstacles, and yet the rewards are numerous when they are reached!
