Providing my students with this table will allow for many learning opportunities. I see my students working in cooperative groups for literature studies, math centers, social studies research, science experiments, partner reading, as well as alternative seating for group lessons. The table can also be used as a safe place to reflect on their behavioral choices. This table will be an added treasure to the room as it will provide ample opportunities for small group instruction, individualized support, and serve as a place for formal and informal assessment. Having this table will benefit all students and I can see my students interacting more with their peers and strengthening teacher-student relationships.
