My Kindergarten students come to school every day with a love for learning. As 5-6 year old students, it's easy to help my students love to learn....it's not as easy when they come with a bag full experiences that even some adults have never experienced. My students face more challenges than most can even imagine, and yet they still find joy in coming to school. Despite all the challenges they face outside of school, they walk through our classroom doors every morning with a fresh start. It is my job to to take advantage of their loving, kind, curious, thoughtful, and compassionate nature and show them how they can extend that into their lives at home and in their community.

About my class
