My school is located in the heart of a large, urban school district. Many of my students live at or below the poverty level and have not been afforded the luxuries of exploring the world outside of their residential areas. These children are eager to learn more about their environment. They are inquisitive and thirsty for knowledge. The students I teach are destined to be great contributors to our society but I must give them every chance to learn more about their world.
