The students in my classroom are extremely diverse. Some students struggle because they don't know where their next meal will come from or where they will be sleeping tomorrow. Some students struggle with learning disabilities and have never felt successful before. I teach other students that are seemingly perfect. These students are high-achieving, college-bound students with so much depression and anxiety from the stress of always trying to be perfect. Regardless of the difficulties each student is facing, my students amaze me every day. These kids have so many amazing dreams for the future and are willing to put in the work to achieve those dreams.

About my class
