My students are very eager to learn. As a new teacher, I am starting from scratch building my library. Our school was built in the 60s and the building hasn't changed much. There are 4 tables in the cafeteria, two halls filled with classrooms and 2 bathrooms on each hall. It seems smaller when you fill it with our 500+ students. I don't want to let this prevent my students from learning and becoming the best that they can be! Since we are now using Common Core, this focuses more on learning through reading and I want my students to benefit from this.
