I teach a diverse mix of students in inner city Houston. They are very mobile so what they take with them from apartment to apartment usually consists of what they're wearing and one or two toys. I also teach a large population of newcomers to the United States. Some are Burmese and Thai refugees, who've spent the greater portion of their lives in refugee camps in Thailand.
