One of the most effective ways to be successful in any endeavor is by leading, not by managing. A way to support students with disabilities is through organization, color coding, and comfortable learning spaces. With proper funding, I will be able to support elementary students in creating an organized classroom that leads to decluttered brains and settling energy. After a year of a pandemic, students need a safe learning environment that is calming and organized. There has been a lot that has gone on in everyone's lives, and organizing our thoughts, paperwork, classroom, books, supplies, etc. will allow for the year to flow more smoothly. Organizational skills and an organized environment enables students to feel more comfortable and more at ease, in turn allowing students to learn more efficiently and productively. Organization is important no matter what the future holds. It is vital for business, society, politics, healthcare, teaching, having a family, running a corporation, and also being independent in our everyday lives. It is a skill that is listed on almost every resumé and it must be taught by example/leading. With your donations, I will be able to have an organized and comfortable learning space for all of my students this year and for years to come!
